What the treatment does
This focused service is designed to address visible discoloration in the anal area by applying a targeted topical lightening protocol to that specific skin zone after waxing. For the best possible results this treatment requires an Inner Butt strip wax beforehand so the product is applied to bare skin and contact is even.
How the skin responds depends on natural pigmentation, recent skin trauma, and whether the area is irritated or inflamed. Because we do not perform medical procedures, our approach focuses on topical techniques administered during a salon visit; clients with concerns about skin conditions may be advised to consult a medical provider before scheduling.
When and where it’s done
Treatments are scheduled at our downtown Hattiesburg location on the Hardy Street corridor, convenient for clients coming from the University of Southern Mississippi, I-59/US-98 commuters, and Amtrak travelers. The salon serves Hattiesburg, Petal, Oak Grove, West Hattiesburg, Sumrall, and Purvis with evening and weekend slots to match local student and shift-worker schedules.
Local climate — humid, subtropical summers and mild winters — affects comfort during recovery. Heat, sweat, and friction can increase sensitivity after treatment, so our aftercare guidance emphasizes breathable clothing and avoiding activities that increase irritation while the skin settles.
Preparing and what to expect
Before treatment we require an Inner Butt strip wax to expose the area; this allows even product application and better contact with skin. Expect a focused, short session where we work only on the anal area; the treatment is designed for minimal disruption to your schedule and privacy.
Appointments are brief: Duration: 20 MINUTES. Bring loose clothing and avoid heavy exercise or hot tubs for a short time after your visit to reduce irritation risks. If you have recent skin treatments or active breakouts in the area, tell your technician so we can adjust or reschedule safely.
